Yael Lewin was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. At the age of 12, her family returned to Lyon, France. After obtaining a joint J.D from Université Lyon III and Boston University of Law, she passed the bar exam in Paris and completed a masters in Business Law from Sorbonne University School of Law. She then worked for Jones, Day, Reaves and Pogue firm in Paris, but decided to give up her career as an attorney and devote herself to her new passion—Jewish Education, with an ephasis on the Montessori Method. Yael’s dream is to give Jewish children the love and the knowledge of their heritage and an authentic Jewish education by applying the time tested Montessori principles. She worked at Cypress Creek Children’s Montessori school in Frisco to complete her studies at the Center for Jewish Montessori based in Teaneck, New-Jersey. After 11 further years of developing and diversifying her teaching skills and experiences at at Akiba & Yavneh Academy, Yael moved to Cheder Chabad and is now entering her third year there as a seasoned Judaics teacher. In parallel to her school work, Yael manages a flourishing Hebrew School, gives community classes to women (both group and individual) and runs a successful Bat Mitzvah Club.
